How to change your date of birth in EPFO

1. First, go to your member unified portal.
2. Then enter the UAN, password and captcha.
3. Then click on sign-in.
4. After this, after clicking on Manage, go to Modify Basic Details and click there.
5. Then according to your Aadhaar card, enter your Aadhaar, name and date of birth. Then click on save or submit.
6. Finally, click on Yes and tell your employer to approve your request.

The difference between the two dates are a maximum of 3 years

According to the EPFO, to change the date of birth through Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar, the difference between the date of that document and the date previously filed with the EPFO   should be maximum of three years. That is, a new date can be either three years more or three years less than before.

Let us know that the Ministry of Labor said in April that in view of the coronavirus epidemic, EPFO   has issued a revised directive to its regional offices to increase the access and availability of online services. Under this, PF members will be able to easily improve their date of birth in EPFO   records.
