The lockdown is in force in the country due to Corona, which has been extended till May 3. But if your home address has changed and you want to change it to Aadhaar, then you can get it done online without any hassle. 

For this, you have to take a clear photo and upload the documents related to your mobile phone. In such a few easy steps, you will be able to change the address in your base. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has given information about this.

How to change your Aadhar Home address?

1. First of all, you have to go to the Aadhaar website uidai.gov.in.
2. In the Update Aadhaar section, click on Update your address online. After that, click on Proceed to Update Address.
3. Then enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and captcha and click on Send OTP.
4. After that OTP will come on your registered mobile number from which you have to type and log in.
5. Then click on the Update Address via Address Proof option. If you want, UIDAI can translate your address into regional language, for this, the relevant box has to be selected.
6. After this, you have to fill the complete address of the house, which includes its number, landmark, Pincode, area and other information. The option of care of which is part of the address is also optional.
7. ATM card expires in lockdown, remove cash like this; These 4 banks are providing facilities including SBI, HDFC
8. Before confirming the information you have given, check the address by clicking the Preview button.
9. If the address is correct, then you have to select the confirmation box and click on submit.
10. Then select the document from the given list which will serve as proof of your home address. Then the document has to be uploaded. Remember that documents can only be uploaded in JPEG, PNG and PDF files. You can also upload the photo of address proof by clicking.
11. Finally, click on the submit button. On completion of the process, the message will be shown on the screen and the URL number will also be sent through SMS.
