India is considered a country of festivals. People of all religions live here, so a festival keeps coming here every month. The festivals that are celebrated in our country are not celebrated in any country. On the occasions of festivals, unity in diversity is seen, this is my country's identity.

India consists of many cultures, in such a way different festivals are celebrated based on many ideologies and beliefs.

Festivals of India 2019 - Some of the most popular Hindu festivals celebrated in India :

Deepawali: - Diwali is the main festival of Hindus, this festival is celebrated all over India with a big land Dham, this festival is celebrated on the new moon day of Kartik month. This festival falls in October or November every year.

Diwali is also called the festival of the lamp. Deepawali means the victory of good over evil. On this day, Lord Shri Ramchand Ji returned to Ayodhya with his wife Mother Sita and brother Lakshman after cutting the ban of fourteen years of exile and killing the demon king Ravana. The whole of Ayodhya was decorated with d in the happiness of his arrival.

 Mahashivratri is a famous festival of people of Hindu religion. It falls on the Krishna Paksha Trayodashi of the month of Falgun. The importance of this fast is considered to be special for women. It is said that if a girl observes a fast on this day, it becomes very early for her, this whole day is for Lord Shiva.

Krishna Janmashtami is important like all Hindu festivals. This festival falls on the Ashtami date of the Krishna Paksha of the month of Bhadrapada every year. Indians settled abroad to celebrate this festival with full faith and gaiety. On this day, Bhagwan Sri Krishna was born at midnight. It is said that on this day, worship of Lord Krishna yields special fruit.

Navratri

Navratri has a very important place in Hinduism. This festival is made twice every year, the first is celebrated on Chaitra month (March / April) and second Ashwin month (September / October). Matarani is worshipped for nine days in Navratri and Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day.

Lohri


Lohri is a popular festival of Punjabi people. It is celebrated every year after sunset on 13 January. On this day, people burn hands at night time and eat and share the Rewari, Groundnut, Good, Chidwe and preparations for this festival in Punjabi society begin several days in advance. It is related to the vow, that is, the house in which a new daughter-in-law or a child is born in the house. There is a lot of pomp with drum and music.

Onam


Onam is the main festival of the people of Kerala, it is celebrated every year in the months of August-September. This festival is celebrated in honour of King Mahabali, it lasts for ten days and is celebrated every day with dancing and joyful joy.

Eid

On this day, the Constitution of India came into existence, then 26 January is celebrated as Republic Day every year. The Constitution of India was prepared on 26 January 1950 and since then this day is celebrated with great enthusiasm.
